They say it's important in photography to be able to "see" in black and white. Lately I've been experimenting with this "seeing" exercise. It isn't easy. There is a quote about black and white photography that I really like: "When you photograph people in colour you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in B&W you photograph their souls" (Ted Grant). I wonder if this holds true for buildings as well.
